Hate Story 2 First Monday Business

Hate Story 2 fell a little over 50% which is higher than the norm but still it has decent figures for the first four days. The daily four day business is as follows.

   Friday - 4,85,00,000
   Saturday 4,30,00,000
   Sunday 5,00,00,000
   Monday - 2,25,00,000  
   TOTAL 16,40,00,000  


The film will gross around 21.50 crore nett in its first week but with Kick releasing on Friday it will be lucky if it gets to 25 crore nett. Still the film will cover costs thanks to the good weekend.

Hate Story 2 Has Good First Weekend

Hate Story 2 did well in its first weekend as it grossed a little over 14 crore nett. The film always had a chance of doing well at single screens but it is the multiplex business which is better than expected and helped to a good first weekend total.

The weekend business is as follows. 

Friday - 4,85,00,000 

Saturday 4,30,00,000 

Sunday 5,00,00,000  

TOTAL 14,15,00,000  

The film did not grow much on Sunday as it had nothing for the families. The Sunday collections were similar to day one. The film would have probably emerge a hit if it was not for the release of Kick with collections of 30 crore nett but now it will have to settle for lower unless it surprises with good numbers after the release of Kick.

Hate Story 2 did well

Hate Story 2 did well on day one as single screens started well but multiplexes which started slowly managed to pick up which will mean a good first day for Hate Story 2.

 
Pizza and Amit Sahni Ki List had low first days and depend on what they can do on Saturday and Sunday. There were other releases like Aaj Ka Fashion Trend, Bazaar-E-Husn and Riyast all of which released on limited theatres and hardly any collections.

 
Humpty Sharma grossed around 51.50 crore nett but has seen a drop in collections on day eight as its screen count was halved from the first week. HIT

 
Ek Villain took its three week business to around 97 crore nett by adding 3.50 crore nett in week three. SUPER HIT
