DABANGG 2 new stills: Salman Khan gets intimate with Sonakshi Sinha
DABANGG 2 new stills: Salman Khan
gets intimate with Sonakshi Sinha
Chulbul Pandey seems to be in a great mood – dancing
and making love, in this fresh batch of pictures
The first Dabangg showed us a Chulbul Pandey who
was angry at the world and at people in general. But in this new batch of
stills from Dabangg 2, we
see Chulbul display a range of emotions. The anger is there for sure, but
there’s also a sweet and romantic side to him. There’s a pic that even shows a
passionate Chulbul making love to Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha), and thus consummating
their marriage; something we missed in the first movie. Besides, he is also
seen riding a new Suzuki Intruder, a limited edition bike that he had actually
purchased for himself.
Chulbul is also seen putting his dancing skills to test. And for critics
who were saying that Pandey jeeis
a lazy dancer, this new avatar of his will silence them, as Chulbul is seen
matching steps with Kareena Kapoor who
is a complete treat to watch in her desi-glam avatar.
All in all, the stills give us a
great peep into the random craziness one can expect from the second installment
of the film. What better way to get to know Chulbul Pandey!

Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela
Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram
Leela
The
actor will be seen in a hardcore muscular avatar in Ram Leela. And he recently revealed
what’s the secret behind his deliciously lean frame
Ranveer Singh,
who is accused of being a Casanova time and again, has had absolutely no time
for love, lust or anything of that sort of late. The actor is extremely busy
trying to make his body look like steel, for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela,
and he’s doing so with great grit and determination, we hear. And if the
‘made in heaven torso’ distracts you, look at his face, and you might mistake
him for a junkie or a ship-wrecked sailor who has had a tough time surviving on
the sea for months. He looks like a perfect combo of a Greek God body and Tom
Hanks’ scruffy face from Cast Away.
But as we go raving about his toned
upper bod, he spills the beans on how he has achieved this kinda awesomeness.
It seems that the actor who was a huge fan of ‘functional training’ at one
point in time, has now converted himself into a ‘drastic transformation
programme’ lover. We hear many Bollywood celebs, including Hrithik Roshan
(whose trainer is an inventor of this programme), indulge in this fitness
routine for a leaner bod.
Ranveer emphasizes how being lean is the new cool thing, and being beefy so passé.
But the actor also stresses on the importance of being mentally strong. Case in
point is that despite his rigorous shooting schedule for Ram Leela,
he takes out time for his DPT…err…DTP routine, whatever that is. We think after
a while, Mr Singh will let his corrugated abs do the talking. Good for us, we
don’t have to see his face covered with a bushy moustache and an unkempt beard
anymore!

"I’m a refined actor" –Bipasha Basu
"I’m a refined
actor" –Bipasha Basu
Fresh from the success of Raaz 3, Bipasha Basu speaks about
her ups and downs in Bollywood
From a model to a popular Bollywood star, Bipasha Basu’s journey hasn’t
been one without her share of ups and downs. But she has taken every experience
in her stride and says she has emerged as an evolved person.
“Today, I am a refined actor, lived a little more life, have
seen a lot, handle situations, not just a relationship, career-wise I have fallen down, come up again. I
have had my run of relationship crises, staying away from my parents for a long
time, loans to pay at times I didn’t know how to pay,” Bipasha said to a radio
channel host.
The 33-year-old made her Bollywood debut in 2001 with Ajnabee. She was dating her Raaz
co-starDino Morea that time, but parted ways with him in
2002. Then she became romantically involved with her Jism co-actor
John Abraham, whom she dated for around eight years.
Professionally, her career picked up with films like No Entry, Dhoom, Corporate and Bachna Ae
Haseeno. Her latest release Raaz 3 received a good opening, and Bipasha
is happy the way life has shaped up for her.
“From 1997 to 2012, I’ve lived a
wholesome life, moved from one room to one BHK (bedroom, hall, kitchen) to two
BHK sharing with a friend. Then bought a car, but didn’t know how to drive and
also couldn’t afford a driver. Finally, my friends ended up driving, so I
realised there was no point of buying a car. I had a very broken life, yes
sometimes broken down, sometimes very strong, so I feel I am a very evolved
human being right now,” she said.
For now, Bipasha awaits the launch of her second fitness
DVD, and her debut international project Singularity,
will hit the screens early next year.

"why he picked me for this role, it was so unlike me" – Ranveer Singh
“I asked
Vikram why he picked me for this role, it was so unlike me.”
– Ranveer
Singh
Mention
Ranveer Singh’s personality and the first words that come to mind are bubbly
and energetic. Its no suprise then that Ranveer himself was shocked when he was
chosen to play a reserved character in his next film Lootera. Vikramaditya
Motwane’s period romance will be his third release but will be a first for
the new actor in terms of leaving his hyper character in Band Baaja
Baaraat and Ladies vs
Ricky Bahl behind.
For Ranveer however, this task appears to be one of his most challenging in his
career.
During a recent interview Ranveer
describe his difficulty saying, ”I am full of high energy, very talkative
and extrovert in real life but my character is very reserved in Lootera. He is intense,
almost brooding. I was just not able to crack this role during the workshop and
felt frustrated. I asked Vikram why he picked me for this role, it was so
unlike me.”
Describing how he ended up in the
film, Ranveer says, “I loved Udaan and
when when I met him [Motwane] at Filmfare award function I told him that I
would love to work with him and immediately without blinking for a second he
said, ‘I have something for you’. Next day we met over lunch and he handed me
the complete bound script of Lootera.
I cried when I read the story. It is one of the best scripts I ever read and it
has shaped up beautifully on the screen.”
To prepare for his role Ranveer
admitted to turning away from the tv, his phone and computer to help get into
his character given that the film is to be shot in 1950s Bengal. Despite
his initial doubts, Ranveer says he is surprised with himself but does not credit
that to his preparation but the guidance and confidence his director has in
him. “Vikram used to tell me that I have a side like this. He used to tell me,
‘Trust the power of camera’ and it really helped me a lot during the filming.
This role was something that could have gone easily wrong for me.”
It seems that after successful
performances in his first two films the Bombay boy will have a variety of roles
to play after recently bagging Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela with Deepika
Padukone and Yashraj’s next film Gunday along
side fellow Yashraj heart throb Arjun Kapoor.
For Ranveer however, all his energy
is focused toward Lootera which is set to release in March next
year. The O Henry story ‘The Last
Leaf’ adaptation will
see Ranveer share the screen with fellow fresh talent Sonakshi Sinha for the
first time.

Bipasha Basu, Emraan Hashmi
and Esha Gupta’s RAAZ3 Biggest opening for a Bhatt film!
Vishesh Films has managed to deliver another hit with a
relatively decent star cast, but a strong story and word of mouth publicity. With
healthy box office collections, which are bigger than most movies released this
year, Raaz 3 has come out as a clear winner.
Raaz 3 earned Rs 58 lakh for the paid previews on Thursday night,
Rs 10.47 crores on Friday, Rs 11.10 crores on Saturday and Rs. 14.35 crores on
Sunday – taking the total collections to Rs 36.5 crores in its opening weekend.
The horror movie based on the taboo
subject of black magic has come out as Vishesh Film’s biggest opening ever –
bigger than Murder 2 (36.5 cr) and Jannat
